Rising author (and optimist apparently) represented by the fabulous Emily Keyes of the L. Perkins Agency. Wine and tea lover. Slave to my cats. I enjoy horseback riding, kayaking, caving, cycling, gaming, dancing, good anime, etc. I am studying Japanese and practicing Iaido because I believe we should never stop learning.
Above all, I love to write. I live to write. I write mostly fantasy and science fiction. My most notable publication to date is Beyond the Twilight Zone, a two part caving adventure published in the November and December 2007 issues of Cricket Magazine. This also got me an associate membership in SFWA. Thanks Cricket!
The novel I am currently working toward publishing is THE GIRL AND THE CLOCKWORK CAT, a fast paced YA steampunk adventure that takes place in the streets of a re-envisioned 19th century London.
This blog is about my quest to get my novels published (among other things). I want to share this process in the hope that others can benefit from some of the things I am learning along the way. I enjoy helping other writers when I can, just as others have helped me along this difficult road. If all goes according to plan, this will one day be a map to my success. If not, I still intend to have a great time reaching for the stars.
